Why we go

“For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in … I was in prison and you visited Me … whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me” (Matthew 25:35–40).

“He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8). Faith without works is dead (James 2:17) — not because we earn God’s love, but because His love in us has to go somewhere.
